Role: Data Analyst

Location: Irvine CA

Duration : Full time

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Design, quote and deliver internal and external client research projects on time and on budget
  • Determine data requirements and business rules to organize effective and valid research results
  • Translate MMS and Research and Analytics group objectives into specific activities to accomplish team and business unit goals
  • Executive quantitative analyses, modeling, and reporting to translate data into actionable insights
  • Present and interact with external and internal clients as required
  • Organize and analyze relevant data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and exceptions and quickly develop responses to take action
  • Design and execute testing and measurement plans for web, email, mobile, search, social, and direct mail marketing campaigns
  • Based on analysis and findings, recommend to Sales, Operations and Product Management for improvements and enhancements
  • Actively involved with Product Management and Operations teams to build testing design into campaign delivery and consistently enhance the performance of campaigns of all media types based on testing results
  • Travel may be required
  • Other duties as assigned

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Knowledge:    Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited four year college or university and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience. 

Experience / Skill:

  • Deeply analytical with a high capacity for simplifying advanced concepts   
  • Minimum 2+ years experience with MS Office SQL, Excel, Access
  • Experience providing research driven analysis of marketing activity
  • Familiar with basic primary research concepts including the following: sampling, data tabulation and analysis, significance testing and experimental designs (test and control groups)
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis using SPSS, SAS or related applications                                                                                                                                                                                                    
  • Ability to write proposals, complex documents, position papers
  • Automotive marketing experience preferred
