ROLE: Project/Program Manager

The Project/Program Manager defines job requirements for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, and implementing project and/or interrelated programs activities in a project/program office environment.
The job progression identifies responsabilités ranging from providing support for small to medium projects to contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage development of strategic or tactical business plan.
· Plans, directs, and coordinates a cross-functional team's activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated Programs from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage.
· Leads the project/Program team(s) in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
· Ensures adherence to legally binding requirements and client's long-term goals. Facilitates status review meetings among project team members and clients.
· Works with senior management on project/Program proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
· Proposes and develops add-on Program opportunities.
· Establishes appropriate metrics for measuring key Program criteria.
· Facilitates the creation of communication plans, ensuring that appropriate information is exchanged among key stakeholders.
· Identifies and recommends contingency measures.
· Leads the Program team(s) in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
· Determines, monitors, and reviews all Program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, subcontractors, resources, and risk.
· Works with senior management on Program proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules.
· Controls project/Program requirements, cost, scope, and change management issues.
· Typically manages a program with multiple projects having a team size of around 50-80 FTE
Education:
· Bachelors or Masters
Experience:
· 10+ years project management experience
· Experience managing SAP and/or JDE functional implementation type projects >= $10MM
· Experience managing full project lifecycle
· Global application deployment experience
· Experience communicating with senior business leaders
Preferred Skills:
· Business would really like someone with project management experience.
· Experience managing finance business application projects
· Experience managing business process changes
Certification:
· PMP preferred
Additional Comments:
· Project Info: FASB to be issuing new accounting standards that impact Lease and Revenue Recognition accounting.
· Upon the effective date of each standard, companies will be required to restate the prior two years data under the new requirements.
· To support this disclosure requirement, two sets accounting ledgers will be required during the parallel reporting period, one for the current rules and the second for the new rules.
*Previous Oil & Gas Industry experience would be preferred*

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience doing web development with Visual Studio, C#, and ASP.NET
- Strong programming knowledge, fluency in C#, and solid understanding of OOP concepts
- Strong JavaScript and web development skills, with good working knowledge of XML, CSS and HTML
- Familiar with ASP.NET MVC and jQuery
- Good working knowledge of one or more databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL), including SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
- A passion for coding, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn, try new things, and have fun
Preferred Experience
- Experience with multi-tenant applications, AWS, and scale-out solutions
- Designing services in large scale environment
- Exposure to design patterns, unit testing, source code control, and agile development methods
