Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
- 10+ years' professional experience working as a senior/lead engineer with at least 5+ years' as a software architect.
- Proven background with the Microsoft technology platform as an architect and designer of n-tier, component-based, and service-oriented enterprise applications.
- Experience with advanced software engineering concepts (design patterns, object oriented, web services, code generation, and test-driven development).
- Highly experienced with the Microsoft .NET development platform and current web technologies and frameworks (MEAN Stack, RWD, AWD, HTML, CSS, DHTML, AJAX, XML, XSL, etc.).
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle (5+ years' tables, triggers, unions, joins, complex queries, stored procedures, and XML/SOAP/web services).
- Software engineering discipline and an unfailing commitment to high quality (4+ years' in an Agile/SCRUM/etc. shop with a test-driven approach).
- Excellent large-scale design and implementation skills with broad and deep experience in algorithms, event driven architecture, service bus, and multi-threaded programming (7+ years' C/C++/C#/JAVA/etc.).
- Desired: Experience with Mobile, social, cloud and big data.
- Desired: Proven ability to build and manage a world-class team of Software Engineers and Architects.
- Desired: Experience with TDD automation, scripting, and other quality assurance tools and approaches (e.g. Selenium, FITness).
- Desired: Industry Certifications (MCSD, MCDBA, SCJP, etc.).
