Role: BUSINESS ANALYST with Unica Experience

Location: Irvine CA

Duration : Full time

The Business Analyst identifies and documents technology-related business requirements.  This role works with the internal development team to translate clients’ needs into application functionality, creates technical specifications, and provides living documentation of processes and deliverables. This role will also create detailed queries and provides interpretative insight and recommendations to the Sales and Operations teams as well as clients, based on the research and analysis of this data. 

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with internal and external clients to identify and document business requirements

2. Interpret requirements in order to provide the most effective and viable technical solution

3. Seeks out opportunities to leverage best practices and reusable objects to meet requirements in an efficient and effective manner

4. Make recommendations for clients to better utilize program tools to drive performance Collects, documents, manages, understands and communicates business and technical requirements and goals to development team

5. Assist with the creation of the technical specifications and documentation
6. Collaborates with quality assurance group to design, track, and complete test plans
7. Analyze client program finances and make recommendations to make programs more cost-effective.                                                                                                                                                                                  
8. Provide internal and external clients with analysis of impact of various programs on client base
9. Make recommendations to operations and account team to create internal program improvements as well as specific client-centric enhancements, including but not limited to process improvement
10. Develop specific query routines using existing database tools to meet objectives                                                                                                                                                                                                
11. Create systematic approach to running queries to provide regular recommendations to Sales, Operations and other groups                                                                                                                   
12. Respond in a timely fashion to requests for dealer and customer research                                                                                                                                                                      
13. Other duties as assigned

 

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Knowledge:     

 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience required. 

 

Experience / Skill:   

• Minimum 2+ years experience with MS Office SQL, Excel, Access
• Minimum 2+ years experience of Unica tools.
• Unica Certified Developer or ECRM Developer
• Ability to write proposals, complex documents, position papers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong customer service acumen

• Familiar with basic primary research concepts including the following: sampling, data tabulation and analysis, significance testing and experimental designs (test and control groups)
• Experience conducting statistical analysis                                                                                                                                                                                                    
• Ability to use MS Word, Excel, Project
• Knowledge of Relational Database concepts
• Knowledge of Oracle Concepts and Infrastructure
• Knowledge of Internet/Intranet concepts
• Knowledge of structured testing techniques 

• Automotive experience preferred
