Role: Sr. Web Software Developer

Location: Louisville KY

Duration:: Six months to one year

Web Software Developer, Sr.

This person will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code to support new or existing WEB applications. 

They will also provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, and will contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

 

Education and General Experience:

Bachelors degree and 5 years experience (2 years experience in web development), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Follows best practices and adheres to established standards and procedures. 

 

Desired Skills:

"• Ability to maintain existing software and develops new software in a Microsoft DotNet environment using Visual Studio 2010, C Sharp, and SQL Server. 

• Ability to maintain system interface with mainframe using DB2 stored procedures and XML.

• Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and the following: ASP.Net, c# JavaScript, VB Script, and HTML

• Experience with Database management systems including SQL Server and IBM DB2

• Experience developing high-volume WCF services

• Familiarity with the MVC architectural pattern and the ASP.NET MVC framework

• Familiarity with the jQuery JavaScript Library"

 

Additional Information:

 The client is moving some of their full time developers from existing teams onto 2 very large and urgent projects.

Consultants will be backfilling roles and joining existing teams on ongoing projects.

 

They anticipate that they will need consultants for 6 months to a year.
