Requirement Detail

Role:  Data Analyst 

Location:  NYC NY

Duration: 1 year+

Type of hire:  Contract

Salary/Rate: $Open

 

EXP Level: 6+ years

 

Must Have Skills: Data Analyst

 

Good database/data model knowledge with strong financial background.

Good knowledge of financial domain – Instrument, Position, Transaction, Client, Account, etc..

Capability of analyzing data in a database using SQL, MS Excel or a combination of both

Understand business requirements and convert it to technical specifications which will be used by data developers ( ETL and/or DBA) to code

Discuss requirements and specifications with other business and technical teams

Data mapping between source file to target database

Data mapping between source DB and downstream services layer (Relational to XSD/Object model mapping)

Modeling is NOT NECESSARY, but ability would be a plus
